My Station

Station

I operate HF, VHF, and UHF using a mixture of fixed, mobile, and portable equipment, with a particular focus on digital modes and SDR-based systems.

My current setup includes:

  • HF base and portable operation (including POTA)
  • VHF/UHF FM and digital voice, in the shack and mobile
  • Homebrew and commercial SDR receivers
  • Raspberry Pi–based packet and digital voice infrastructure

Several of these have grown into projects in their own right: the GB7CAM packet node, my MMDVM digital voice hotspot, a Raspberry Pi IQ visualiser, and the memory-channel builder that programmes my Yaesu radios.

I periodically update this page as my setup evolves.
